PDF editor — FAQ

Is this PDF editor free?

Yes. slicerflow is free and open source, needs no account, and runs entirely in your browser.

Are my PDF files uploaded to a server?

No. Everything happens locally in your browser — your files never leave your device, so it is private by design.

What can I do with a PDF here?

Merge and split PDFs, reorder, rotate, duplicate and delete pages, add a text watermark, annotate with notes, highlights and shapes, and extract text and images.

Can it convert Word or EPUB to PDF?

Not yet — the current version focuses on editing existing PDFs. Format conversion (EPUB, Office, images) is planned for a later release.

Do scanned PDFs work?

You can view, reorder, watermark and annotate scanned PDFs, but text extraction needs a real text layer — scanned images have none (OCR is not included).
